[dc]I[/dc] don’t know why people spend money on cat beds. Cats seem happiest sleeping on something you are about to use or don’t want ruined. Again, we have a comic inspired by Real Life. Our cat, Nigel, is prone to sleeping on whatever. He is just as happy snoozing on a printed out caterer contract for our wedding as he is catching Zs on one of Stephanie’s sweaters fresh out of the dryer.
My original idea for this strip was a person, perhaps me, cheerfully putting down a piece of paper and making a cat bed. Then I decided to go for a different route.
Plus, I wanted to draw a chubby kitty in a wizard hat. Kitty Wizard might make another appearance, because he is fun to draw. He’s not the first cat dressed as a wizard to appear on Clattertron either–here’s the first (at the bottom).
