[dc]F[/dc]irst thing’s first: apologies to the directors and writers of The Iron Giant
, Lilo & Stitch
, Kung Fu Panda
, and The Brave Little Toaster
.The main inspiration for this comic came to me after reading about a knockoff of Disney’s Planes called Wings.
The Iron Giant and Lilo & Stitch are two of my favorite animated movies, and are must-watch classics. I still haven’t watched Kung Fu Panda, but I will eventually. I probably saw The Brave Little Toaster about a million times when I was younger, as it was always on cable (also worth a watch, because it is a proto Toy Story).
This comic was a fun one to draw. Any time I can draw foul-mouthed little kids or drunk appliances, is a good time.
The Lani & Knot gag was partially inspired by a deleted Lilo & Stitch scene I heard about in an episode of Cartoon Book Club (a podcast about animation). I was already going to spoof Lilo & Stitch, but the deleted scene gave me a better idea.

While I think TaeKwonDo Sloth might bore me to tears, I think the others would make good movies. You should make them.
Ha! If only I had the time/money. Mainly the money for when I got sued.
