[dc]I[/dc] don’t have an assistant to help me make comics, but our cat Nigel comes pretty close. In his own way, that is. Not only did he help inspire this week’s comic, but he helped me panel the strip.

Bless his furry, little cat heart. Although, he didn’t really help that much, other than prove my theory on How to Make a Cat Bed. Which, to sum up, is: cats will lay down on anything important. The more important, the more comfortable for a cat to rest upon. This is why traces of cat hair are found on the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and the screenplay to Demolition Man.

Still, it was nice of Nigel to take time away from working on his phat beats to lend a paw.

OK. If he actually works on beats, phat or otherwise, while I’m gone, I can’t really say. But, I can IMAGINE, can’t I? The doctors say I can, although the lawyers advise moderation. The pixie people though, they say…well…I can’t tell you.

Anyway. Cats. Am I right?
