[dc]I[/dc] think I solved the ‘comics not appearing in subscritption emails’ problem. We’ll see though, I won’t really know until I publish another comic. I killed the Jetpack subscriptions–sorry to those who signed up–and went with Feedburner email subscriptions (watch, Google will kill Feedburner in like two weeks).

You may notice a few changes around the site, including a pair of Subscribe buttons. I decided to focus on boosting my subscribers, hence the buttons.

Magic Eyes Upon You

This handsome fellow appears in the top right sidebar (which, based on some recent reading is a good place for such at thing). You might remember this panel from the comic, The Proxy, Part 4. I just moved No Filter Fox’s eyeballs to the center, and now he’s looking AT YOU. MAGIC.

For the “Subscribe!” text, I grabbed a bunch of letters from different words in my finished comics, and pieced ’em together like a digital ransom note. Sure, it would probably be as much work to just write, ink, and scan the word, but season two of Legend of Korra started this weekend, so

This No Filter Fox comes from the comic, Ask No Filter Fox. Again, I just moved the eyes (and erased the terrified child). Observant Raptor on the right comes from the same comic as the first subscribe button. For her “Please,” I grabbed the whole word from the String Cheese Theory comic. My Oh No Robot transcript page came in handy for such a task (See? Being meticulous has its advantages).

All Thumbs, Because Pictures Are Fun

I added thumbnails of the latest posts and comic to the sidebar and threw on an RSS widget to show recent everything in one list. Like with the subscriptions, the switch to the new ComicPress/Comic Easel changed how some plugins/widgets work, so I need to find workarounds.
