[dc]T[/dc]he joy of living with cats is, they are always eager to help. And by ‘help,’ I mean, get in the way. But do so in such a cute way, it is impossible to get angry. I’ll take cats who want to be around me and get in the way over cats who ignore me any day. Nigel and Rags are my buddies, even though they don’t always grasp the concept of personal space or no don’t step there.

Magic Foot!

Case in point, Rags kept me company while I inked pages for my recent Chocolate Quest story. He even helped…in his own special way.

My Mews

Here’s another angle, either before or after The Foot Incident (at least the ink was dry when Rags plopped his foot on my drawing board).

Rags loves that box, probably as much as I love the Bose QuietComfort 15 noise cancelling headphones I’m wearing in the photo (worth every dang cent).

Happy Caturday!

Speaking of cats, the cat painting on the wall is The Vegetarian by Lansing area artist Kate Cosgrove.
