It is all fun and games until the grim reality takes hold.
Based on True Events ™. Stephanie and I leveled up last month and hired a financial planner (we got a recommendation from a friend). I know, how adult.
When he asked, “When do you want to retire?” I laughed at first, and said “Tomorrow.” When asked for a realistic time frame, I instead said, “Eventually?”
I hope eventually is the case. Our financial planner asked if he should calculate our retirement plan based on us using Social Security monies, or not, I quickly said “Not.”
Jokes aside, we like our financial guy. He’s helping us save money for a house and getting our financial ducks in a row–or should I say, money bin? WINK
