[dc]T[/dc]hese kids learned a valuable lesson: Never ask No Filter Fox a question. Especially about tigers.
I have quite the animal streak going here. First it was polar bears, then opossums, now tigers. What’s next? I don’t know. I already did a humor post about platypus stuff on Amazon. I need to look up some other random animal trivia. Maybe the blue-tongued skink?
Those with a keen eye might notice this comic references my novel, The Magic of Eyri (also on Amazon). Beacon Pines, home of the elementary school in this strip, is where Steve, the hero of Magic of Eyri lives. Aw yah, meta baby.
[[Title: Ask No Filter Fox Live]]
[[Title Card: Ask No Filter Fox – Live! Picture of No Filter Fox holding a microphone and saying Yo!]]
[[text box: Live – Beacon Pines Elementary]]
[[A group of young school children sit on the floor around No Filter Fox, who is holding a microphone. A boy in a Cats shirt raises his hand and asks a question.]]
Boy: Um, um…why are tigers endangered?
[[A close up shot of No Filter Fox yelling at the kid. The boy is terrified.]]
No Filter Fox: Because you lie to your parents!
[[Every child in the room begins to cry at once.]]
Kids: WAAAAAHH!
[[No Filter Fox turns to the ‘audience’ and waves.]]
No Filter Fox: See you next time!
{hover text: Good thing he didn’t ask about the economy.}
I first read it as Bacon Pines until blurb underneath the comic.
Even better!
