[dc]S[/dc]tephanie and I made the long haul out to Ludington, Michigan¹ on Friday night for the Drawing Conclusions artist reception. Drawing Conclusions is the art gallery exhibit my comics are a part of at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, and we both enjoyed ourselves at the reception (cheese and wine, yum).
I really didn’t know what to expect, as I had never been to the galley before, but it’s a great space. The Ludington Area Center for the Arts is inside an old church, and they did some amazing things to create a delightful gallery space.
Seeing my comics on display was of course the highlight of the trip, and the gallery did an excellent job with the set-up. I didn’t have any grand vision in mind, other than the Chocolate Quest parts (1-4) being displayed together, so I left it up to the gallery. They did not disappoint.
Better still, I sold a few coloring books to attendees. Hooray! The gallery even asked if I could send a few more coloring books to sell (which I plan on doing ASAP).
The show also got a mention, and a photo, in the Ludington Daily News.
If you are in the area, please swing by the Ludington Area Center for the Arts. Drawing Conclusions runs until 3/26/16.

¹ Roughly a 2.5 hour trip, one way. We ended up heading back to Lansing after the reception too (Stephanie drove, which is the only reason why). Five hours in the car = a lot of listening to Doug Loves Movies podcasts.
