[dc]S[/dc]ome fun news on the eve of Capital City Comic Con, I have a quote and art featured in an article for the Lansing State Journal about the event (written by Anne Erickson).
The art I sent in is a page from the new comic I’m starting next month, Foxes and Boxes. These new comics will still be on clattertron.com, it’s just a new story as I give long form comics a try. It isn’t the full-page, but most of the page. I’m hoping to start running the pages, one every Monday, starting in September.
The first six pages are finished, and I’m working on the next two. But, I really want at least eight pages finished (two months) before I start publishing. These pages take longer, so the larger the buffer I can start with, the better.
While these comic pages are more work, I’m definitely having a lot of fun, which is important. I’ll post a longer piece on the how’s and why’s of Foxes and Boxes soon, probably closer to the launch.
Anyway, give Anne’s article a read, and better still come and see me at Capital City Comic Con tomorrow.

¹ And yes, I bought foxesandboxes.com, it will redirect to Clattertron (soon). I might create a second website for Foxes and Boxes in the future, but that’s not a priority at the moment.
