[dc]I[/dc] always try to snap a few photos at every comic con appearance. And, if you follow me on Instagram and/or Twitter, you will probably see said photos shortly after I take them.
But, I don’t always get photos of myself at shows. Thankfully, I had a little help on Saturday.
Ryan Claytor, of Elephant Eater Comics, snapped a few photos of me while I was on a panel. I talked about making comics, and my comic background, as part of the Local Artist Spotlight at Capital City Comic Con.
Now, more photos!
Thanks to Chris from the Read a Comic Podcast for asking me to be on the panel in the first place (that’s Chris next to me in the photo).
I did get a quick picture from my point of view on the stage. As you can see, the stage was on the main concourse. This did make speaking, and hearing questions, a tad difficult due to the crowds.
Here’s a Random Cartoon commission from Saturday, and it was a fun one.
I tried a new kind of sketch card: I used my ink wash pen to make a random shape, and then used another pen to make it into something.
Here’s one I took of my table set-up this year.
Lastly, head over to the MI Geek Scene Facebook page for a shot of me behind my table.
Bonus: I shot some video too!
Looking forward to next year! Don’t forget: I’ll be at MeggaXP next month in Jackson, Michigan! Come on out and buy my art prints, mini-comics, or original art! This is my first time at MeggaXP, and I’m excited to see how it goes.
