Hopefully the 7th Winter we’re experiencing here in Michigan is over by this weekend so y’all can come see me at the REO Town Marketplace April Pop Up. I’m back again, selling my arts and comics. The event is free to attend, so swing by!
Where and When is the April Pop Up Market?
The fun starts at 10 AM on Saturday, April 21st in Lansing’s REO Town, at the REO Town Marketplace (1027 S. Washington Ave, Lansing, MI) and goes until 5 PM. The REO Town Marketplace is a multi-use building that allows artists and artisans to set up shop for the day. Here’s a map!
I definitely get more space at the Pop Up Market than I ever do in any artist alley. A 10 ft x 10 ft space compared to a single table. Last time, I didn’t really use that space to its full potential. This time I plan on doing so. I’m treating this as a pseudo test run for the East Lansing Art Festival and trying out my new display set-up.
What Am I Selling at the April Pop Up Market?
In addition to my usual Clattertron offerings of mini-comics, prints, buttons, and Mash Up Cartoons, I’m bringing some of my Monster Portraits series. This is the series I submitted to the East Lansing Art Festival. One table in my set-up will just be Monster Portraits cartoons, in frames and everything. I’m not bringing my whole stock, just a few.
I will also have my #the100DayProject cartoons for sale (including last year’s). I have a binder full of 4×6 originals and I’m hoping to sell a few on Saturday. They will be a bit cheaper than on Etsy, and I’m offering a buy two get one free deal on all of my 4×6 originals.
