This page is an homage, of sorts, to a favorite page of the Akira manga (the page on the left shown below). When I first read volume one of Akira a few years ago, I was hooked by the time I got to that page.

Thanks to Cartoonist Kayfabe I started rereading the Akira manga (if you make or read comics, watch CK on YouTube).

Speaking of comics, the Foxes & Boxes book is done! It will be for sale on Amazon soon. I will have copies for sale in person at select events this summer (e.g. any event with “comic” in its name) and signed copies available via Etsy eventually.

Buying the book through Amazon is totally fine, but I do make more off the sale if you buy it in person (however, it doesn’t “cost” me anything if you buy it on Amazon, and they handle all of the shipping).
