[dc]R[/dc]ember how in the blog post for last week’s comic I wrote about the number of panels per page in the Akira manga? You can see I’m way over the 4.8 average here. WAY. Looking at this comic now, with the info I learned from studying other comics, I could have probably split this page into two separate pages.

It’s OK though. Foxes & Boxes is as much a learning experience for me as it is entertainment for you.

Cherry Capital Comic Con was over the weekend, and I missed it for the first time in…three years? That sounds about right. I felt like I’ve done more than three trips to C4, but it looks like my first trip was 2014 (I guess after three years of attending various comic cons, they all blur together).

Anyway, I’m sad I missed Cherry Capital Comic Con, because it is a favorite show. I’m planning on going next year however (SO HELP ME).

It’s probably a good thing I skipped this year, because my Memorial Day Weekend got off to an interesting start. Thursday night, I went to the emergency room with chest pains.

Long story short: I’m OK. Several hours and several tests later, I was discharged with “nonspecific chest pains.” I wasn’t having a heart attack (or something similar).

I would like to think it wasn’t triggered by watching the new Twin Peaks season.

I may do a blog post about the entire emergency room visit, as there were a few minutes of hilarity. I have a follow-up appointment with my doctor this week (he may want to do a stress test or something). Fingers crossed!

It was a good idea to go to the emergency room anyway, even though I ended up being mostly fine. I haven’t had any heart stuff checked out. There is a bit of family history of heart issues on both sides, so if this leads to me getting out ahead of something, all the better.

Hey! Are you following along with my #100positivethings #the100dayproject on Instagram? Ya should. I’ve started doing Instagram stories and Live drawings for followers. I’m also posting the drawings to my Patreon.

Fox and Boxes approach an old fancy looking mansion. Fox tries the door and finds it is locked.

Fox: Locked?! Why didn’t Kane give us his key?!

Boxes: He’s a crazy old man! He probably just forgot!

Boxes: And you didn’t ask for one!
Fox: Neither did you!

Behind Fox and Boxes, Kane Flysight watches from the bushes.
