Also, some more big news last week: I applied to the artist-in-residence program at Isle Royale National Park for this coming summer. It would mean two weeks on the island, and use of a rustic cabin. Two weeks to work on comics and cartooning in the wilderness. Wish me luck!

It will be a bit before I find out if I got in or not. It could be as late as May 1st.

I’ve already had a bit of good news this year. I got into the East Lansing Art Festival as an emerging artist, and I also got into Cherry Capital Comic Con. My calendar is filling up!
