[dc]A[/dc]nother of my wedding program illustrations, this one showing the cartoon version of Stephanie and I starting our ‘adventure.’ Every adventure needs a least one scary torch lit cave, right? The idea with the wedding program was, paces, like on a map (think Indiana Jones travel montages or, Family Circus cartoons I guess), connected each of the illustrations. The paces ran all over the pages of the wedding program and the illustrations told a simple story, while other wedding info (ceremony stuff, names of the wedding party) was displayed here and there.

To give credit, the ‘map’ idea and layout for the wedding program was Stephanie’s idea (I came up with the drawings though). I enjoyed not worrying about text or dialogue and focusing on the images (and trying really hard to have good body language and expressions for the characters).
