[dc]T[/dc]his wedding program illustration didn’t make the final cut, so you folks get to see something our guests did not (unless they read my comics here, which can’t be more than like three of our guests).

Something to keep in mind with these wedding program ‘comics’ is, they were printed much much smaller than you see here–about the size of a business card, or smaller. This was why I went for a simple look and didn’t worry (too much) about detail. Or perspective. Or anatomy. Or–

Even though Stephanie did want a drawing of a crazy monster (I swear to Batman), this illustration hit the cutting room floor. When this one was shrunk down, Stephanie felt the crazy mouths looked too much like mustaches (to which I said, all the more reason to include it). But, a wedding is The Bride’s Day, and her vote counts as two. In fact, wedding is probably derived from some sort of Latin, Sanskrit, or really old English meaning just that.
