[dc]I[/dc] do carry a pocket knife everywhere I (legally) can and it has proved its worth many times over. My “every day carry” is a Leatherman Crater C33Tx, which is much more than just a knife, and it’s a favorite.

My Leatherman Crater has two screwdrivers (1/4″ flat and Phillips), a dual blade, and a carabiner/bottle bottle opener. Despite how it looks in the comic, I do have the black blade version shown here (I felt it wouldn’t look enough like a knife if I used the actual color).
I get a lot of questions and compliments about this knife, and my father-in-law almost didn’t return it to me when it fell out of my pocket at his place. I’ve had mine for almost two years, and it’s still in excellent shape.
And it’s great for opening packages.
