[dc]I[/dc] missed ever having a pager myself. They were on the way out by the time I was old enough to get a pager, and by then cellphones were the new thing (although I didn’t get my first cellphone until my second to last year of college, I think). I bet kids get a smartphone as a 1st birthday present these days.

As you might recall, this isn’t the first reference to HB’s mother.
