Punchlines
[dc]I[/dc] lucked out. System Pun 603 is a panda saying, “I don’t pander to special interest groups.” Yeesh. I need to download the latest patch file.

Panels one and three were ideas I had for separate comics, but I couldn’t think of a way to turn either of them into a full blown strip. Then I had the idea for the middle panel, and it all worked out (sure). Panel one is based on real life events–I have been witness to two debates about a food item either being a pickled beet or a pickled radish. This is a serious subject.
Panel three is also inspired by true events–I drew a similar picture on a chalkboard at a music club here in Lansing.
The women on the left side of panel three was my attempt to make a non-stick figure version of the lady in the Shopping strip. I still need to work on hair, hands, and other body stuff. OK, everything. I expect plenty of growing pains as I figure out my own ‘style.’
