[dc]I[/dc] actually did take part in a triathlon a few years ago, believe it or not.¹ I’m at the age were all of my friends are having kids, so the baby shower invites are pouring in (although mainly for Stephanie). Although, I shouldn’t be allowed to buy gifts for children, apparently.
You will notice the call back to last week’s comic, as I’m shown here preparing a cup of green tea.
If you think I wouldn’t do something as crazy as a triathlon to get out of a social event I don’t want to attend, then you don’t know me very well.
Speaking of triathlons, I highly recommend the book Trizophrenia: Inside the Minds of a Triathlete by Jef Mallett (cartoonist of Frazz). It’s a good read, even if you don’t plan on giving a triathlon a go.
