Newsletter Archive #6 – Playtesting

[dc]I[/dc] send out a new email newsletter every week through MailChimp (sign up here), and decided to back up my old newsletters here. This is Clattertron Newsletter #6 – Playtesting from August 16, 2015. 

I wrote in an earlier newsletter about how I dug out my old Magic: The Gathering cards (much to my wife’s enjoyment, because she loves teasing me).

As I sorted through my old cards, I decided to tweak old decks, and come up with entirely new ones too. This meant starting from absolute zero, like when I start a story or a comic.

See Me at Red Fox Comics on Halloween

[dc]I[/dc]f you missed me at Grand Rapids Comic Con, you can see me this Saturday—Halloween–at Red Fox Comics here in Lansing.

Red Fox Comics has a Halloween event planned for the day, and I will be there starting at 10 AM until 3 PM. There will be all kinds of fun Halloween comic-y fun happening at the store, so please come by and visit.

I’ll be selling my usual selection of items if you want to get a jump on the holiday shopping season, including:

  • Mini-watercolor cartoons (2.5 x 3.5 and 4 x 6)
  • My Big Monster 11 x 17 print
  • Various black and white and color prints
  • Coloring Books
  • Stickers
  • Mini-buttons
  • And Random Cartoon commissions

I have a couple of special deals too, including a free mini-comic with any purchase (yes, even one sticker), and $5 off any of my mini-watercolor cartoons (not commissions though).

If you want a commission, I recommend showing up early. If I get too busy, I may only be able to do a limited amount of commissions before I leave.
