Schmoopy
[dc]T[/dc]hese are the kind of thoughts that run through my head. If The Simpsons can have a joke bout feral Furbies (which I didn’t remember until just now. “Simpsons did it!”), I can have one about feral Slinkies. Not Slinky Dog, the regular kind.

This marks the first strip scanned and edited on my new MacBook Pro. It took a bit longer, because I had to get used to Photoshop Elements–which resulted in a bit of hilarity. I spent a good 15 minutes doing some clean up erasing, and I thought, “Man, the Eraser tool in Elements is annoying–it doesn’t act like normal.”
Then I realized I had it set to Background Erase, not regular Erase. Oops.
I was a bit rusty while drawing this strip, as I had not drawn much since my iBook died, and I was waiting to see if I could even keep the comic going. I had one big screw up here (aside from the lazy, weird off-panel hand holding going on): I drew ears for the Lady in panels one and two, but forgot them for panel three. Thanks to the newly discovered Photoshop Elements eraser tool, panels one and two were quickly fixed.
Why did you not add ears to panel 3 instead of removing them from panels 1 and 2?
Actually, I realize now I have that backwards. I had the ears in panels 1 and 3, but not 2. I couldn’t go back to add them to 2 because there wasn’t enough room–and also, most importantly, I thought she looked better without ears sticking out of the hair.
