I missed C4 last year, so I’m very excited to be coming back to one of my favorite comic cons. Better still, 2018 is the tenth annual C4, so it’s even more special! Come see me at booth 802!
When is Cherry Capital Comic Con?
The begins Friday night, May 25 and goes until Sunday, May 27. That’s three days of comic book fun! Well, OK. Two and a half. Friday night is a shortened “preview night.” BUT STILL

Friday, May 25th– 5:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday, May 26th– 10:00am-6:00pm
Sunday, May 27th– 11:00am-5:00pm
Where is Cherry Capital Comic Con?
All of the fun happens inside Governor’s Hall at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa (100 Grand Traverse Village Blvd., Acme, MI 49610-0404).
Tickets for Cherry Capital Comic Con 2018
Tickets for the weekend are available through the MyNorthTickets website. Friday night is only $5, Saturday is $15, and Sunday is $10. You can get a weekend pass (all three days) for $25. Kids 10 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door, but I recommend buying them ahead of time.
What Am I Selling in Artist Alley?
I am selling my buttons, stickers, Foxes & Boxes mini-comics, a variety of cartoon art prints, and some of my framed Monster Portraits watercolor cartoons (the same original art I sold last weekend at the East Lansing Art Festival). But that’s not all! I’m selling my The 100 Day Project watercolor cartoons, matted and bagged (these were a hot seller at the art festival).
Lastly, I am offering my Mashup Cartoons and other on the spot cartoon commissions.
The Great Cartoonist Sketch-Off
I had the honor this year of being asked to take part in some cartooning nonsense on Saturday and Sunday. I’m joining artists Jay Fosgitt, Jay Jacot, and Jeffery J. Manley on stage for a Sketch-Off. It’s gonna be something! Also…there’s too many J’s on this panel.
