etsy coupon

NOTE:  I set up the previous Etsy discount wrong, and not everything was included in the sale (I blame Ety’s confusing interface). Anyway, the new code is below and includes everything. The old code no longer works.

20% off in my Etsy shop on my Inktober and 100 Positive Things drawings. Every drawing I can sell is available now. Use the code BUYITALL17 at checkout or this link.

Visit danieljhogan.etsy.com to see everything. The sale ends Tuesday, and includes free shipping.

See Me at MeggaXP This Saturday

meggaxp

Come to the show this Saturday!

MeggaXP is this Saturday in Jackson, MI. The name stands for: “Michigan’s Entertainment, Gaming, Geek, and Art Experience.” There is a bit of everything for fans of pop culture, games, and comics at the show.

This is my first time appearing at MeggaXP, and I’m very excited. I’ve heard good things from friends who attended in the past. Plus, it’s a one day show, and I love one-day shows, especially when they are less than an hour’s drive away (no hotel, less money on gas).

When is MeggaXP?

MeggaXP is Saturday, September 23. Doors open for VIP pass holders at 9 AM. Doors for general admission passes open at 10 AM. The Vendor Hall, where I am, shuts down at 5 PM.

Where is MeggaXP?

MeggaXP is at the Commonwealth Commerce Center in downtown Jackson, MI (209 E Washington Ave, Jackson, Michigan 49201).

MeggaXP Tickets

There are a few different ticket levels available, including VIP Pass at $50, but the basic general admission is only $10 in advance ($15 at the door) for adults, and $5 for kids 6 to 12.

What Am I Selling at MeggaXP?

  • Buttons: My colorful cartoon buttons (made by Pinback Buttons here in Lansing).
  • Stickers: NEW stickers I ordered from MOO! I’m selling sticker sheets now, instead of single stickers. It’s $2 per sheet, and each sheet has four round stickers. These turned out great and look better than my old homemade stickers.
  • Prints: Several different 8” x 10” cartoon prints, and NEW 11” x 17” prints of my Free Cats illustration! The 11” x 17” prints look fantastic. It’s been a while since I had a new 11” x 17” print, and I’m excited to sell these.
  • Comics: I have not one, not two, but THREE Foxes & Boxes mini-comic collections for sale now! Each mini-comic collects three pages of Foxes & Boxes, in order, for nine pages total. I also have a few remaining copies of my Hourly Comics collection.
  • Coloring Books: I’m down to only a handful of my 2016 color book, and when these are gone, they are gone.
  • Commissions: And as always, I’ll be doing commissions, including Random Cartoons. Come buy a drawing from me!

This is very likely my last appearance of 2017, so please come to MeggaXP if you can. Saturday could be the last chance to grab a copy of limited items, like my 2016 coloring book or my Hourly Comics Collection.

capital city comic con panel hogan

Me on the Local Artist Spotlight panel at Capital City Comic Con. Photo by Ryan Claytor.

[dc]I[/dc] always try to snap a few photos at every comic con appearance. And, if you follow me on Instagram and/or Twitter, you will probably see said photos shortly after I take them.

But, I don’t always get photos of myself at shows. Thankfully, I had a little help on Saturday.

Ryan Claytor, of Elephant Eater Comics, snapped a few photos of me while I was on a panel. I talked about making comics, and my comic background, as part of the Local Artist Spotlight at Capital City Comic Con.

Now, more photos! Continue Reading

Video: Live From Capital City Comic Con!

capital city comic con video

A brief video from artist alley at Capital City Comic Con. Watch below!

[dc]A[/dc]s I said in my previous video post, I’m trying to do more video these days. I went Live on Facebook this Saturday at Capital City Comic Con. You can watch my brief video below!

I didn’t realize until after I finished that the image was flipped. Oops. I used the front facing camera on my phone, which flips the image (I don’t know why it does this). I’ll do some research about turning this off in the future. Or fixing it “in post” somehow.

Tip: I used my KobraTech Mini Cell Phone Tripod TriFlex Mini, with my Ulanzi Tripod Mount as a poor-man’s selfie stick for shooting this. It definitely helped.

Anyway, make sure to follow Clattertron on Facebook and Instagram for more video fun!
